I was working on a thin stemmed goblet yesterday, which decided to shatter on me. This happens, stuff ending up as firewood, but I refuse to let it put me off.
Instead, I mounted a bit of beech I have been drying and set about turning a wavy box.
Not having any special hollowing tools I have to make do with what I have. I think the inside is OK though, not great – but OK.
The coin at the base is 2 euro incidentally, to give an idea of the overall size.
