A Pen from the shed

Yesterday, I made my first pen. A walnut blank from a pack of five I bought from the bay of E, and a Planet pen kit later – and this was the result.

I made one or three beginners mistooks with this, but overall I am quite happy with the result. Happy enough for this to be my new pen for taking to work.

I have also been working on a stand for a Galileo thermometer from Beech and Iroko which should be finished soon. Pics to follow as soon as it is done. I will take my camera out today to take some photies of my setup too.
