Interruption to service

Things have been a bit busy on the turning front of late. All I have managed to produce has been the magic wand, complete with phoenix feather, in my header. Don’t ask me where I got the phoenix feather, it’s a secret.
The wand body is made from magical silver birch, and the handle from magical purple heart.

wand #3
Obviously the magical source of the magical wood must remain secret.
The finish on both however is a very UN-magical paste wax.
Most of this was turned using a skew chisel. The feather is glued in using powdered unicorn horn.
I made a new handle for a tool I am currently manufacturing too, but that is nowhere near ready to use so probably will not find its way here.
