It has been posted as a competition entry now, so quite safe to display here I think. I don’t expect to win any acclaim from this, as it was done as a bit of a joke. My daughter’s in-laws donated a christmas tree to my wood pile a few years ago. I have made a few utility pieces from it, on the advice that “if you can get a decent finish on pine you should be able to manage pretty much anything.”
This year’s table decoration therefore, doubles as a salt & pepper shaker. The original snowman was to be a mustard pot, but looked far too much out of scale.
