I didn’t manage to get anything finished at the weekend, but started a few interesting projects. I rough turned a lot of green timber, and started a couple of small projects.
One was to be my entry for the May competition, but due to a mysterious breakage will not be finished in time. One of the previous entries will have to be entered instead.
The other is a project re-visited, but will have to remain under wraps until it is finished.
I’m also experimenting with rough turning green timber to make travel mug sleeves. The plan is to leave them fairly thick, fill them with shavings, put them in a paper bag and store until dry.
