Celtic knot cutting jig MKI
I had the afternoon off yesterday to enjoy the sunshine. Being Scotland, that could very well be the Summer.
As well as sitting out on the deck chair, I also knocked up a jig for cutting the saw drifts for celtic knots on pens. It works well enough, but I got the angle wrong. I set the fence at 30° to the blade, which makes the saw cut 60°. Duh!
Today, I will reverse the angles so that the cut is at 30° instead. I will, of course, still turn the pen blank I created at the wrong angle, just to see how it looks. Waste not want not.
